Our shorts are made from a high-tech fabric that helps regulate body temperature. (For the textile nerds among us: The flat cross-section of the yarn offers a large surface area that quickly wicks body heat away from the skin.) Due to the special texturing of the yarn, the shorts are incredibly breathable; the finished, ultra-thin fabric is literally as light as a feather.
They are both! Glad you asked. Think of them as a combination of a classic slip, boxer briefs, and bike shorts: They give you coverage under short or slightly sheer outfits, prevent thigh chafing, and smooth gently without annoying seams (we think the word "panties" is weird too). Plus, the knit-in cotton gusset means you can wear them without any extra underwear if you want.
